As you have slogged through this week in anticipation for the biggest Redskins game that our fair city has seen in some time, you might have found yourself experiencing a wide range of emotions.
First, you were probably nervous, then anxious, then wary, then apprehensive, then kinda sleepy, then worried, and then concerned. All reasonable feelings.
That's why it pains me to pile on and tell you that tonight's game between the Redskins and Cowboys is now officially a must-win for both teams. Winner wins the NFC East, loser goes home.
The Chicago Bears' 26-24 victory over the Detroit Lions has rendered the Redskins' back-up plan -- clinching a wild card spot even if they lose to the Cowboys by way of both Chicago and Minnesota losing -- obsolete. No pressure.
Enjoy the game!
