Keep an eye on Storm Team 4 Doppler radar overnight as the next round of storms makes its way toward the D.C. region.
The best chance of storms will be from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., according to meteorologist Chuck Bell. However, he said this will be more of a Virginia problem than a Maryland problem. He also said this round will be nothing like the derecho that pummeled our area Friday night.
There is a chance of thunder and lightning associated with this front during the overnight hours, but it should be out of the area by daybreak.
There is a slight chance of storms on Monday. Bell said Tuesday is looking to be storm-free, but there is a chance of storms returning on the Fourth of July.
Temperatures will be in the mid-90s for most of the week.
