Zenith Gallery is closing its doors after 30 years downtown.

You want the good news or the bad news first?

OK, since we can't hear you through the computer screen (keep trying, though; it's funny), we'll pick the good news: Zenith Gallery (413 7th St. NW) is having its first-ever sale. The bad news? It's because after 30 years, the gallery is closing. Oh, snap.

Sculptures, paintings, jewelry and neon art (wow, "neon art" is one of the most hilarious phrases ever; just think about it) are all 15-75% off through Zenith's closing on March 29.

If your idea of art has tended to be those pre-framed posters from the back aisles of Target, this might be a good time to snap up, you know, REAL art at a fraction of the price. But if you absolutely MUST go for that neon art, at least we're pretty certain that it won't advertise your favorite brand of beer.

Current artists include Beatriz Blanco, Francois Chauvin, Jill Mackie and Guenther Riess. A group of artists will gather on March 7 for one last party in the space from 7-10 p.m.

    Gallery Hours:
    Tue.-Fri. 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
    Sat. 11 a.m.-7 p.m.
    Sun. 12-5 p.m.
