Fun seekers put your Snuggies away ... there will be no Snuggie pub crawl this spring in DC.
DC's inaugural “Snuggie Pub Crawl” was promoted on a website (before it was taken down) and about 1,500 people were registered to participate, according to the Washington Business Journal.
"Snuggies," made famous from their TV infomercials, are fleece blankets with sleeves.
“We’re managing this as a side-project from Chicago, so we were seeking partners that were able to plan the event, end-to-end including coordinating bars, drink specials, sponsors, charitable donations, security, insurance and more all in Washington D.C., but we weren’t able to come to an agreement with an appropriate partner,” said Dan Kuthy, co-founder of the event.
Snuggie pub crawls are still on for Chicago and New York City.
