Police Look for Thieves Who Took Specially Made Bike From Girl With Severe Autism

Two men are wanted for stealing a bike donated by the Make-A-Wish Foundation

A 12-year-old girl with severe autism had her custom-made bicycle stolen and now detectives are seeking the public's help to find it.

The two-person bike was donated by the Make-A-Wish Foundation and was stolen from the Marina City Club Condominium complex in Marina del Rey on Nov. 30, 2013, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

It is the only kind of bike the girl – who had a double-organ transplant when she was 1 year old and has nonverbal autism – can ride due to her special needs.
