A woman out walking her dog with her husband was killed in a shooting in Charles County, Md. Friday.
Police believe the couple were walking on a pathway near their home in Waldorf when a suspect shot at the couple multiple times, reported News4.
There was no clear reason that the suspect shot at the couple, police said.
Both the man and woman were transported to a local hospital, where the female victim died.
The couple's dog, a boxer, ran from the scene but was found a short time later, police said.
