Woman Stabbed Near High School in Northeast DC

A woman was stabbed Tuesday afternoon near Eastern Senior High School after what police believe may have been a road rage confrontation, officials said.

The 22-year-old woman was attacked on the 1700 block of East Capitol Street NE, north of the Stadium-Armory Metro station, police said.

The victim was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said they were looking for a woman seen leaving the area in a black Chevrolet Impala.

An area near the school's tennis courts was roped off with police tape, but police said the incident was not related to the school.
