Two people were killed and two others were injured in an early morning crash Thursday along Baltimore-Washington parkway.

The three mile stretch of the BW Parkway between Kenilworth Avenue and New York Avenue was closed for several hours as police completed their investigation.

Police believe the car and truck involved in the crash were both traveling north when the truck slowed down to take the exit ramp for Route 202 just before 2 a.m. As the truck slowed, the sedan slammed into the back of the truck and flipped onto its roof.

Ange Barbour, 21, and Kiana Wiggins, 24, were pronounced dead at the scene. A third passenger, Seth DeBose, suffered critical injuries. The driver suffered minor injuries.

The two people in the truck suffered minor injuries.
