Turkey Truck Overturns on I-81 in Virginia

A tractor-trailer has overturned on Interstate 81 in Botetourt County, Va., killing most of the 900 turkeys that were being shipped to Harrisonburg for processing.
The truck's driver wasn't injured in the accident, which happened around 5:40 a.m. Tuesday in western Virginia.
State police closed both northbound lanes of I-81 and traffic was being rerouted along five miles of U.S. Route 11 while the accident scene was cleaned up.
