A jackknifing tractor-trailer led to a chain-reaction crash in the outer loop of the Beltway at about 2 p.m. Friday, leading to major traffic delays.
The accident and backup is near the Ritchie Marlboro Road exit, reported News4 Prince George's Bureau Chief Tracee Wilkins.
Seven cars were involved in the crash as drivers struggled to avoid the jackknifing truck. One driver drove off the Beltway to avoid it.
