Southwest DC Man Shot and Killed Sunday Evening

Detectives are investigating the fatal shooting of a Southwest D.C. man Sunday evening.
It happened shortly before 6:30 p.m. in the 1400 block of Canal Street SW, about three blocks from Nationals Park.
Police responded to the scene for the report of a shooting, where they found 22-year-old Tyrone Joyner suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was transported to a local hospital, where he died.
Police are offering a reward of up to $25,000 for anyone who provides information that leads to an arrest and conviction. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call police at 202-727-9099 or text their tip to 50411.
