Wednesday morning, Falls Church City police are issuing a warning about a break-in they say is very unusual.

Earlier this week, someone broke into a home in the 1300 block of Robinson Place in the middle of the night.

According to police, all they stole was a laptop.

But investigators say the sophisticated crook or crooks were able to duplicate bank cards, despite not having the originals.

The thieves gained access to the house through a sliding door left open.
