Prince William County police are investigating a shooting near a shopping plaza in Dumfries.
Police say the victim is an adult male who suffered multiple gunshot wounds Sunday afternoon after an altercation with three people at the Triangle Shopping Plaza.
Police say the suspects fled on foot after the incident and that they likely know the victim, who was flown to a local hospital for treatment.
