Police Seek Two Suspects in Armed Bank Robbery

Two men are being sought in connection with a bank robbery in Lovettsville, Virginia, Friday evening.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office said the men entered the bank on East Broad Way around 5:15 p.m. One of the men handed the teller a note, demanding money, while the second man displayed a firearm.

Sheriff’s detectives said the men fled the bank with cash toward the Lovettsville Community Center. They are believed to have left the area in a blue SUV.

The first suspect was described as a black man, 6 feet tall, and weighing 175 pounds. The second suspect was described as a black man, 5 feet 8 inches tall, and with a thin build.

The area was searched, but no suspects were located.
