Police in Falls Church, Va. are looking for a dog that bit an adult on the playground of Thomas Jefferson Elementary School Friday. If the dog is not found, the victim might have to get a series of rabies shots.

Falls Church police say two men let the dog off its leash on the playground between 4:00 and 4:30 p.m. Friday. It bit the victim on the leg.

Police describe the dog as similar to a Pit Bull, medium-sized and mostly white with short hair. The two men with the dog left the playground after the incident, and did not offer any help to the victim.

Anyone with information about the dog or its owners is asked to call Falls Church police at (703) 241-5050.
