Police in Montgomery County need help identifying a man in connection to a fatal shooting.
Someone spotted the man, pictured in the sketch above, leaving the scene after a shooting in Gaithersburg.
The shooting happened just after midnight Dec. 3. Someone shot and killed Cesar Smith, 45, inside his home on Whetstone Drive.
Investigators do not believe the shooting was random. They say Smith had gotten into an argument with a group of individuals before the shooting.
