McLean Police are investigating the death of a 17-year-old girl who passed away Tuesday, following a bizarre incident that left her hospitalized for two weeks.
Police said the girl, while riding with her grandparents during the early morning hours July 31, fell out of the car onto the travel lanes. The injuries she sustained were life-threatening and she was transported to Inova Fairfax Hospital.
The girl, identified as Jasmyne Grant of Reston, Va. passed away from those injuries Tuesday, and police are now trying to determine the cause of the incident.
