1 Dead After Double Shooting in Northeast DC

D.C. Police are investigating a double shooting that left one dead and another critically injured.

It happened at around 11:30 p.m. Friday in the 4200 block of Edson Place Northeast.

Police say they found the body of 21-year-old Shawn Junior Ray in the street, while the other was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities say that three suspects ran off right after the incident and are trying to gather more information. They have not yet been able to establish a motive.
