Alexandria Police are investigating a double homicide on the 14th floor of an apartment building at 375 S. Reynolds Street.

Police got the call for a domestic dispute at about 10 a.m., from neighbors who reported hearing a scuffle. When police arrived, they found two people dead inside the apartment.

The identities of the deceased have not yet been released. Police are not yet providing information about possible suspects or a motive. However, police have confirmed they're investigating the crime as a double homicide and not a murder/suicide.

Residents of the 14th floor of the building have been interviewed. The building is located right off Duke Street, near the Landmark Mall.

Anyone with information about this incident should call the Criminal Investigations Section of the Alexandria Police Department at (703) 838-4444 or the Crime Solvers tip line at (703) 838-4858. Witnesses can remain anonymous.
