Police Find Body of Md. Man Suspected in Fatal Stabbing of Sister, 10, Wounding of Brother, 13

Police found the body of an 18-year-old Maryland man suspected of killing his 10-year-old sister and wounding his 13-year-old brother.

Searchers found a body in a storm drain near the family's Glen Burnie home shortly after 11 a.m., Anne Arundel County Police spokesman Lt. Ryan Frashure told the Associated Press.

The body was identified as Andres Rafael Quintana Garcia. It was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for autopsy. Evidence at the scene suggests he may have taken his own life, police said.

The younger siblings were stabbed Monday evening when a family dispute escalated, police said.

The girl was taken to Baltimore Washington Medical Center, where she later died. Her brother was released from a hospital Thursday.

Police obtained an arrest warrant charging Garcia with first- and second-degree murder, first- and second-degree attempted murder assault and reckless endangerment, but couldn't find him for days.
