Person of Interest Sought in Southeast Robbery

The Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a person of interest in connection with a robbery that occurred in the 700 block of 8th Street SE on Jan. 14.

He is described as a black male in his late 20s to early 30s, and six feet tall. He was last seen wearing all dark baggy/loose clothing with a dark-colored do-rag on his head. Surveillance footage of the person of interest can be found below.

If you have any information, call MPD at (202) 727-9099. Anonymous information may be submitted to the department's TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411. MPD currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any robbery committed in the District of Columbia.
