Prince George's County police say a man was fatally stabbed inside a banquet hall in Landover.
Police say patrol officers responded to a report of a stabbing at a banquet hall on Landover Road at about 12:30 a.m. on Sunday. When they arrived, they discovered a man suffering from multiple stab wounds. Police say the man was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The victim has been identified as Emory Hursey, 32, of southeast Washjington.
Police say a preliminary investigation revealed that a party was being held at the banquet hall and the man likely became involved in a fight before he was stabbed. Police have not yet identified any suspects.
