1 Dead, 2 Injured in 3-Car Crash in Prince George's County

One man was killed in a three-car crash in Accokeek, Maryland, early Saturday morning, according to police.

Prince George’s County police said two cars and a SUV collided at the intersection of Indian Head Highway and Berry Road about 1 a.m. One man, a driver of one of the vehicles, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other two drivers were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators said a car was heading north on Indian Head Highway, also known as Route 210, when the SUV and the second car, heading south on Route 210, attempted to turn onto Berry Road. Police said the driver of the car heading north was the one that was killed.

The intersection was closed until 5:30 a.m. The identities of the drivers have not been released.
