Who knew the Pythagorean Theorem could be so cool? A math rap created by a Montgomery County teacher is going viral and putting a new twist on trigonometry.

Montgomery Blair High School teacher Jacob Scott made the video called “Triangle Experts.” It was posted back in December, but got a bunch of attention this week when county school superintendent Joshua Starr tweeted out a link to the video in honor of Pi Day.

In the video Scott, also known as “2 Pi,” raps about everything from the Triangle Sum Theorem to the Law of Cosines.

Scott was named the county’s NAACP teacher of the year in 2011 for his unique way of connecting with students.
