A lawsuit over a negative Yelp review about a Northern Virginia daycare will go to a four-day trial next year.

Horizon Child Development Center owners Sonjia and Jimmy Jackson sued Rebecca Gonzalez after she left a negative review on Yelp, alleging the review has damaged their business' reputation, even resulting in a rejected loan.

Here is a section of Gonzalez's Yelp post about the daycare:

Northern Virginia mom Rebecca Gonzalez thought she was doing the right thing when she left a negative review of her child's daycare on the business review site Yelp, but she's now facing a lawsuit. News4's David Culver reports.

"Please do not send your child to this daycare. The owner of the daycare Sonya (sic) Jackson is extremely mean to children.... My son came home with a bruise (sic) ear.... We do not know what happened when that lady took him to her office ... and we will never know.... I exposed my own child to the physical and verbal abuse of this lady."

The Jacksons are suing for $75,000. Friday, a judge denied Gonzalez's motion to dismiss the case, sending the suit to a four-day trial in January 2015.
