Infant Taken in Carjacking in Northeast D.C.

Child found unharmed

A child taken in a carjacking Wednesday afternoon was found unharmed.

Three men took a Porsche SUV from an Exxon station in the 5500 block of South Dakota Avenue in northeast D.C. before 3 p.m. while the owner was pumping gas. An infant was inside the SUV.

The carjackers abandoned the SUV a few blocks away at Fourth and Kennedy streets in Northeast. They fled in a teal green Infiniti, police said.
