News4's Jackie Bensen reports from Silver Spring, Md., where a 3-year-old girl fell out a window while trying to touch the snow, police said.

A 3-year-old girl was seriously injured Monday after she fell from the window of a fourth-floor apartment in Silver Spring.

The girl and her 5-year-old  were looking out at the snow when she accidentally fell from the Grand Bel Manor condominiums in the 3800 block of Bel Pre Road about 9:10 a.m., Montgomery County Fire and EMS officials believe. Investigators believe the girl was trying to touch the snow.

Two adult family members were home at the time, authorities said. Police said there are no indications that any laws were broken.
