Downtown D.C. Water Main Break Sends Water Gushing Into Air

A water main break in downtown D.C. sent water gushing into the air and onto Interstate 395 late Tuesday morning.

A construction crew struck the water main at 2nd Street NW and Massachusetts Avenue NW, sending water pouring down onto the northbound lanes of Interstate 395 at the Massachusetts Avenue overpass.

D.C. Water said in a tweet that they've shut off the water, but are warning drivers that traffic "won't be great there."
