Major debris and asphalt on the SE/SW Freeway caused flat tires and major delays for many drivers Thursday morning.
Asphalt fell off the back of a truck and hardened.
Much of the debris was concentrated in the westbound lanes near Maine Avenue.
Crews have parked a vehicle to block traffic from coming down the far right hand lane, where much of the debris was concentrated.
News4’s Tracee Wilkins saw at least three vehicles with flat tires due to the debris in the road. no injuries were reported.
