A D.C. Superior Court judge had to deal with a criminal act outside the court room on Tuesday.
Police responded to the Northwest D.C. home of Judge Harold L. Cushenberry Jr. on Tuesday afternoon with the report of a break-in, the Washington Post reported.
The incident happened around 2:15 p.m. Uncertain whether a burglar remained inside the home, a large police force briefly surrounded the house in Colonial Village. No suspect was apprehended.
A U.S. Marshals Service spokesperson told the Post that the crime appeared to be random.
