D.C. Police Officer on Motorcycle Struck by Car, Injured

    A D.C. police officer driving a motorcycle was injured when he was struck by a car Monday night.

    According to D.C. police, the officer was driving on Good Hope Road SE between 16th and 17th streets around 6 p.m. when he was struck by a car.

    Officials say the driver of the car stayed on the scene and no charges have been filed.

    The officer was hospitalized with injuries to his leg and arm.
