Two taxis, a Metrobus and three other cars crashed into each other in downtown D.C. Tuesday afternoon.

The driver of one cab is in grave condition. Four others were taken to area hospitals with minor injuries.

D.C. fire officials think the driver of the cab suffered a medical emergency and caused the crash.

K Street was closed from 13th Street to 15th Street while investigators sort out the details.
