A bicyclist may have prevented a sexual assault in Montgomery County, Md.

A 23-year-old woman was attacked shortly after midnight Tuesday in Montgomery Village.

Police said the woman was walking along Montgomery Village Avenue near Stewartown Road when she noticed someone following her.

A man then grabbed her and dragged her into the woods. She yelled and screamed.

A bicyclist riding by apparently startled the attacker, and the victim managed to break free.

Police are still searching for that man.
