Howard County police say a 46-year-old man has died after being stabbed at a mobile park home in Laurel and one man has been taken into custody.
Police say they were called to the 10000 block of North 2nd Street for the report of an assault about 7:15 p.m. Thursday. Authorities say they arrived to find Robert Lynn Foster of Savage lying near the entrance of the mobile park home with stab wounds. Foster was taken to Laurel Regional Hospital, where was pronounced dead.
Police say they have taken one man into custody.
Authorities say they were told by witnesses that the victim and the assailant knew each other, and that they were involved in a verbal argument that turned into physical altercation.
