Two men were found dead inside a car in Lorton, Virginia, Fairfax County police say.

The victims, 19-year-old Gregory Dennis and 20-year-old Ryan Cross, were found in the area of Dolsie Grove Drive and Pohick Road about 3:30 a.m. Wednesday. Both Dennis and Cross were from Dumfries.

Dozens of investigators responded, looking in and around the white sedan where the two men were found sitting lifeless. Police said the car was stopped but the motor was still running. The car doors were left wide open.

"It's a quiet neighborhood, real quiet neighborhood. So it's shocking," Harper said.

“Nothing like this has ever happened in the area and for something like this to happen it raises some questions: what exactly is going on?” resident Don Hamilton said.

Police say they are looking into whether the homicides were drug-related.
