A woman was taken to hospital after a fire broke out in a Northwest D.C. apartment early Saturday morning.
It happened shortly before 3 a.m. on the first floor of a four-story building at 1815 S Street NW. No identifying information about the woman was released, nor was any information about her condition given.
The fire department was on scene for more than an hour until the blaze was knocked down.
