Many overweight Americans don't realize they have Pre-Diabetes.

Federal health researchers say one in four Americans, many of them overweight, are at high risk for getting type two diabetes.

They even have a name for it, called Pre-Diabetes.

But they say only one in 25 Americans has ever heard of it.  And that's a problem. Because if you don't know you're at risk, you may not be motivated to prevent diabetes by changing your diet or getting more exercise.

Your doctor can tell you if you are pre-diabetic by checking your blood glucose level.
