Personal Information Swiped From Government Jobs Site

Hackers got into the governments database for job applicants, USAJOBS.com, the Washington Post reported.

Contact and account data were taken, including e-mail addresses, names, phone numbers, user Ids and passwords, but the information did not include resumes, social security numbers or private financial data. Still, the data that was taken could be used in phishing scams.

People with passwords to the website may soon be required to change them.

The database is powered by Internet employment website Monster.com.
