The local food movement has been gaining momentum throughout the country, and now D.C.-bound locavores can pair local eating with a stay in a Dupont Circle hotel.
Kimpton's Hotel Madera has launched a new “Farm to Table To Bed” package, in partnership with FRESHFARM Markets, designed to appeal to both visitors coming into the District and locals looking for a weekend staycation.
The package includes a Saturday night stay at the Hotel Madera, brunch for two at the Firefly - a meal that features ingredients sourced from FRESHFARM Markets - and $10 of FRESHFARM Market dollars that can be used towards produce at the Dupont Circle FRESHFARM Market.
The deal also includes a seasonality guide and a reusable market bag, as well as handmade herbal soap from Harmony Creek Farm.
FRESHFARM is the local farmers’ market non-profit in D.C, and ten percent of all proceeds from this promotion will be going to the organization.
