Move over Carrie Underwood – it’s Christina Aguilera’s turn to sing the national anthem at the Super Bowl.

The Grammy-winning pop star turned “Burlesque” actress will help kick off Super Bowl XLV Feb. 6 in Dallas, Fox and the NFL said on Monday.

The Black Eyed Peas will perform at halftime when the Green Bay Packers take on the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Aguilera, who did the Super Bowl halftime show in Atlanta back in 2000, said in a statement to news outlets it’s always been her “dream” to belt out The Star-Spangled Banner on football’s biggest day.

"I have been performing the anthem since I was seven years old and I must say the Super Bowl is a dream come true," Aguilera said, ESPN.com reported. "I am really excited to be part of such an iconic event."

Besides Carrie Underwood, who performed at last year's Super Bowl, Aguilera finds herself in the company of Billy Joel, Diana Ross, Neil Diamond, Whitney Houston and Beyonce – all of whom have belted out the national anthem at TV’s most-watched event, ESPN reported.
