Brace yourself for goosebumps (or possibly just a few nervous laughs) during a tour of the most haunted lighthouse in America, Point Lookout Lighthouse.
No? Fine. Whatever.
The park itself is on a penisula between the Potomac River and Chesapeake Bay, and opps for boating, fishing and camping make it a great spot to spend the day before (or after, if you survive) your paranormal tour. It was the location of a former confederate prison camp, we're just sayin'.
The Civil War Museum and Marshland Nature Center on-site should be very informative for all your prison camp questions... or concerns.
