The IKEA posters on your walls? Yeah, um, they're great and all, but...

Whether you need to perk up your apartment or renovate your rowhouse, you'll probably find something worthwhile at the Capital Home & Garden Show, which is showcasing design and decor ideas, plus exhibitors and vendors, this weekend (Feb. 24-26).

Stroll through the Dream Gardens, which are blooming regardless of weather.

Celebrity guests include Kimberly Lacy of HGTV's Curb Appeal: The Block and "You Bet Your Garden" radio host Mike McGrath. The stage schedule includes Get Your Lawn Off Drugs, Five Elements of Design and De-stress Your Current Living Conditions.

The show is at the Dulles Expo Center (4368 Chantilly Shopping Center, Chantilly, Va.) throughout the weekend. Hours are as follows: Fri. 10 a.m.-9 p.m.; Sat. 9 a.m.-9 p.m.; Sun. 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $3 for kids ages 6-12.
