In The Loop: Rivera and Locksley at Wizards Game, Oshie Kids Take the Ice

In The Loop: Rivera and Locksley at Wizards game, Oshie kids take the ice originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington

First up in our look around the sports world, on Wednesday night at Capital One Arena the Washington Wizards hosted the Golden State Warriors, the first game in which fans were allowed into the arena this season.

In addition to fans, we also spotted a few big names in the DMV area like Washington Football Team head coach Ron Rivera and Maryland Football head coach Mike Locksley. Everyone wanted to see if the Wizards could keep up their hot streak and shut down Steph Curry.ย

Next up, the Washington Capitals received a bit of a break after playing 120 minutes of hockey in about 24 hours over the weekend and three games in four days. The Oshies look like they have enjoyed the time together as a family as T.J. Oshie took his kids out on the ice for a little family skatingย time.

Lastly, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are still celebrating their incredible Super Bowl win. Chris Godwin, Mike Evans, and Justin Watson were shown at Amalie Arena recently for a Toronto Raptors game. In attendance also: the Lombardi Trophy. Not a bad guest to bring along.ย
