A 95-year-old Bethesda woman who was missing for nearly a week has been found safe, police announced Monday.
Gertrude Marion Haugan was last seen on April 22. On Sunday, police found her blue 1996 Toyota Camry in an alley not far from her home on South Chelsea Lane in Bethesda.
Family and friends told authorities it is unusual for Haugan not to have regular contact with them.
Police did not say where she was found.
