A hiker was rescued Tuesday after falling 30 feet from a cliff at Sugarloaf Mountain in Frederick County, Maryland.
According to Pete Piringer with Montgomery County Fire, technical rescue crews responded to the scene, moving to the 21-year-old hiker to the summit of the cliff. He was then hoisted into a helicopter and transported to shock trauma in Baltimore for evaluation.
As of Tuesday evening, he was listed in serious condition.
