RIVERDALE, Md. -- A Riverdale man is charged with second-degree murder in the death of his four-month-old daughter, according to the Prince George's County Police Department.
Lamarcus Brandon, 24, was arrested and charged Dec. 6 with second-degree murder after his daughter, Savanah Michelle Brandon, died Dec. 4.
The night before, she was taken to Children's Hospital in critical condition after police found her unresponsive at her home in the 6000 block of Longfellow Street.
An autopsy on Dec. 5 showed she died from trauma to the upper body, police said. Her death was ruled a homicide.
