Police said a man was already injured when he was struck and killed by a car in Montgomery County, Maryland, early Saturday morning.
County police said a car was traveling north on Piney Branch Road when it struck a person who was lying on the roadway. Investigators said Inmar Alejan Garmendez-Escorbar, 30, had apparently already suffered an injury prior to being hit by the car.
The victim was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
