Prince George's County Police are investigating the shooting death of a man in Capitol Heights.
Officers were called to the 1300 block of Coral Gardens Court for a report of a shooting at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday. When they arrived, they found 24-year-old Earl Atwood Ross of Capitol Heights suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
He was pronounced dead at an area hospital.
Investigators are working to establish a motive and suspect information. Police say this was not a random act.
