Ndoke Enow to Spend 20 Years in Prison for Hiring Hitman to Kill Wife

A Maryland man will spend the next 20 years in prison for attempting to hire a hitman to kill his ex-wife.

Ndoke Enow thought he was meeting with a hitman in a car, who was instead an undercover police officer wearing a wire. The two met in a parking lot at Four Corners in Silver Spring. Enow brought photos of his ex-wife to show to the "hitman," gave him her address and paid the hitman a $300 downpayment on the $1,000 hit.

News4 obtained the audio recording of Enow's meeting with the undercover police officer.

"So tell me your plan though," the officer asks.

"... I want to take this girl out," Enow answers.

"Out like...?"

"No more," Enow said.

"No more as in done? As in rest in peace?"

"Yeah."

"As in 6 feet under?"

"Yeah."

In court Friday, Montgomery County prosecutors revealed Enow has a history of violence against women, leading to the acceptance of Enow's guilty plea.

"Putting him behind bars for many years, it protects the public," Montgomery County State's Attorney spokesman Ramon Korionoff said.

Formal sentencing is scheduled for next month.
