A man died after being shot Tuesday morning outside a motel in Northeast D.C., police said.
The victim was shot about 10:30 a.m. on the 1600 block of New York Avenue NE, the D.C. police department said. The man, who was not identified, was found with multiple gunshot wounds and later was pronounced dead.
Detectives investigated at a hotel on the block. No one was arrested immediately.
